Baby Boy Shows Off for the Camera

Things have been very... intense lately.  As cramped as it must be in there, Baby still has enough room for activities.  I keep telling him there is much more room out here!  We also had an ultrasound on Thursday. Baby is measuring big and they wanted to make sure he was a-okay and check the fluid levels.  It was fun to get a little seek peak of the face, hands and toes we will be kissing before I know it!

Baby Boy's Bedroom is Complete!

I finally have finished Baby's Room.  The only thing that is missing, besides Baby of course, is our beautiful glider.  HOPEFULLY it will arrive in the next week or so!  So, just imagine a super comfy chocolate brown glider where the bouncer is. :-)  It is by far my favorite room in the house.  I look forward to years spent rocking, reading and playing with our son in this room.  Many memories to come.  I hope he loves it as much as we do!

PIN-SPIRED!

I love, love, LOVE how the baby's room is turning out!  It is colorful and happy and definitely the best looking room in the house!  I knew from the start that I did not want a "theme" room or a cookie cutter room.  I wanted a room that was fun and full of the things and colors I love the most.  I have REALLY let my creative juices flow on this one.  Originally, it was to save money... or so I thought!  The cutest fabrics also come with the highest price tags, but then I just wanted something original.  Something not from a store shelf.  Something I handmade for my darling son (whom I do realize will NEVER appreciate the hard work I put into his nursery) that I can look at as we sit and rock together.

I went through my Pinterest Boards and was very proud of all that I have SUCCESSFULLY accomplished with a little "Pinspiration", some fabric or paint, and a LOT of time!

I still have around 3 weeks until Baby is due.. who KNOWS what else I will come up with!
